Since receiving a rabbinic diploma at Leo Baeck College in 1980 I have combined rabbinic work with my psychotherapy practice. I currently work part-time as Director of Spiritual Development at Finchley Reform Synagogue.
I have lectured, taught and run workshops on a variety of psychological, Jewish and spiritual themes in the UK and in Germany for many organisations including Jewish-Christian and Jewish-Christian-Muslim conferences. I have guest-lectured throughout Europe on religious, Biblical, Judaic and psychoanalytic themes and their relevance for us today.
I am a Fellow of the Leo Baeck College and received a MA (with Distinction) in Creative Writing and Critical Theory from Sussex University in 2004.
Apart from my books and published essays, I have reviewed for The Jewish Chronicle, Tablet and a variety of newspapers, magazines and journals.
